FIT FLOW draws its origins from Vinyasa Flow Yoga: a style of yoga that links breath with movement in an effort to unite body and mind in a flowing state of joyful presence.
For the most part, is based off of the original & ancient power yoga - Ashtanga Vinyasa - which links together poses with vinyasas (plank → chaturanga → up dog → down dog).
In FIT FLOW the aim is to create a continuous progression of poses that flow from one to another, seamlessly, using a smooth sense of breath.
In this class we'll work progressively to build an energising flow that engages the whole body.
We'll work with strength and stability poses to get the body moving and your heart going. As always we'll aim to create a continuous progression of poses that flow from one to another, seamlessly, using a smooth sense of breath.
This practice is slightly more powerful then the morning Hatha Flow but accessible to all levels of experience.
